About Us

I am John and I have loved photography for many, many years. My wife, Becky, and I created Go Graphics and Photography this year. We offer photography and design. You can see what we do and we would love to help you with any photography or design needs – just send us an email. This blog also serves as a learning tool to share with others what I have learned in the past 21 years.  If you’re trying to teach yourself photography, or if you are just looking for some helpful tips, I hope I can help you learn and grow the way I have from shooting anything and everything.

My mother is a great photographer and she is the one who really got me interested in photography. She would always take thousands of pictures of myself and my brothers and sister when we were young. I remember thinking, “How many more pictures do you need?” every time she would ask us to hold still and smile for a tenth shot. Now I do the same thing with my kids and maybe someday it will pass on to them as well. I have been to several places around the world and actually lived in Germany for six years and attended a German school. I moved to Utah in 1990, which is also when I fell in love with photography. I would take pictures of everything around me and since then I take my camera with me everywhere I go. In 1992 I was introduced to Adobe Photoshop and immediately fell in love with it as well. Since 1992 I use the two almost daily and will share what I do here on the blog, so check back with us.
